  1. yes ofcource he will come and bat

  2. yeah , r u new to cricket..

  3. In the sport of cricket, a nightwatchman is a lower-order batsman who comes in to bat higher up the order than usual near the end of the day's play. This nightwatchman's job is to maintain most of the strike until the close of play (remaining in overnight, hence the name) and so protect other, more capable batsmen from being out cheaply in what may be a period of tiredness or in poor light. The theory is that losing two top-order batsmen in quick succession would be worse than losing one top-order batsman and a tailender.

So its just a name given to the batsman ... nothing else... If the nightwatchman does fall before the End of Day , then the captain usually go for a regular batsman because he doesnt want to risk many tailenders and put undue pressure on the regular batsman

  4. devini u need to see more cricket ...yes ofcource other can bat

  5. Being a night watchman does not make a difference. If a batsmen is out, and as long as you have wickets in hand, another batsmen will replace. Most probably, it will be another nightwatchman.

  6. hahahah yes off course

  7. Yes, of course. It is just like another batsmen.

  8. yes

  9. Yes obviously. If there is an over or more to play, the new batsman has to be in. Else opposition can appeal for a 'timed out'. If there are less than an over (say 5 deliveries) to be bowled umpires will call 'stumps'
