  1. Past child support is not dischargable and future child support is still owed.


  2. Yes. Child support is not dischargable in a bankruptcy.

  3. Yes he will still have to pay child support in the future.  If he is behind in his child support payments, then they are actually considered at the top of his debt list and any available money will be applied to it.

  4. Child support is one of the few things that is NOT allowed to be included in a bankruptcy in ANY state.  It has to be listed on the bankruptcy as part of that person's obligations, & if he has back support that goes in the priority un-secured claim's section.  And if they liquidate any of that person's property, assets or other money.  The stuff in the priority section gets that money first before any other accounts are paid.  So he can't get out of paying any support by filing bankruptcy.
