If the outer electron of an atom is full, will 8 still be able to react with another atom that lacks electron?

for example , one atom already have 8 electrons in its outer shell, will it be able to share electrons to another atom having only 4 electrons in its outer shell?

  2. well, if the valence shell of the atom is full, it is said to be stable. However, there are some instances wherein the atom can still form compounds with other elements.

    Xenon, for example, has a full valence shell. Despite this, it is still able to form some compounds with F. An example of this compound is XeF6.

  3. It is possible for noble gasses to create compounds. But it is very rare.
