  1. only if both parents sign papers to have the child adopted.  no one would take the child away if at least one parent was a good provider.


  2. You need to be more specific.

    If you're suggesting that they are being deported than the biological mother will be granted custody in most cases and the country of origin will have to make the decision on who gets custody.

  3. i fail to see how a person's citizenship status has anything to do with child custody.

    the child would most likely be given to the parent who wins custody in court.
