If all the people (excluding women, old men and children) that Hitler gassed/exterminated had fought for him, could he have won the war?

  1. Hitler wouldn't have had the same support from the Germans he did have if he hadn't made the Jews scapegoats for Germany and Hitlers problems. Doing this took attention away from himself, and gave the public a minority group to blame. What you've stated would have made more sense, until you realise that Hitler would have lost support as the public would have blamed him, instead of the Jews.

Even with the Germans and Austrians Hitler had killed (Not including those from other countries, as they would not have been fighting for Germany) it would have been impossible to win. At the end, Germany's allies had given in, and America was beginning to join the war to help Europe (However, contrary to popular American belief, they did not win the war, when they joined the war, Germany was on its last legs) but, with the combined power of America, even with more troops, victory would have been impossible.

  2. The day Hitler started a war with the rest of the world was the day he was finished , Add all the countries resources that he took on and he was outnumbered out gunned and financially a small potato who had about the same chance as a snowball in h**l . the worst of it it that most of his generals knew it but were to frightened to say anything.

  3. no

  4. Interesting question, it is one I have never heard before.

But no, Hitler would not have used the people he considered 'inhumane' and 'unfit to walk the planet' to help fight his war against the allies. For one thing, the Jews, homsexuals, gypsies etc... once having arrived in places like Poland to 'fight for the n**i cause' as you are saying, would have fled to allied protection. This means that once the Jews and others had reached the Americans, the British, the French, the Russians and the Australians, they would have taken safety under their protection. These poor people were not stupid. They understood what was going on, and would never fight for him because they knew that Hitler would kill them as soon as he had 'world domination.' Hitler however, had brainwashed Germany's 'true race,' and built a large enough army to fight the world without any others coming to their aid (even though the n**i's had the Japanese fighting Australia etc in the Pacific).

Also, we have to take into account that Hitler was a very prejudice and proud man. He selected his youths (young soldiers and soldiers in general) with pride. To be a Hitler youth, you had to have blonde hair and blue eyes, and hold a strong belief in the Aryan race. Hitler would not have accepted the Jews etc to fight for Germany. He was, no doubt, a very intelligent man. However, he would rather have those he considered disgusting and vile locked up in concentration camps like Auschwitz and Treblinka, than have them fight for Germany.

Because of all this, Hitler would not have won the war if he did have the people de despised fighting for him, because they wouldn't fight for him. At least, they wouldn't fight for him because they would have known that if Hitler's army HAD won the war, they would have been executed in the very end.

    Hope this helped!

  5. No.

There are two important factors often overlooked in WWII.  One is that Germany was not out fought, it was out manufactured.  If you look at statistics about how many tanks, guns, airplanes, etc. that the Axis and Allies produced, it's easy to see that the Axis manufacturing stayed pretty flat throughout the war whereas the Allies increase exponentially.  Germany made extensive use of captured equipment (many countries did), even though it caused them huge supply problems for ammo, etc. because they simply could not produce enough weapons to supply the troops that they had.  Additional troops would have gone into battle unarmed.

Secondly, not enough emphasis is put on intelligence gathering.  Germany's code machine, "enigma", was broken by the allies.  Montgomery often received Rommel's orders before he did.  Due to Rommel's diligent reports back to the German high command, Montgomery knew exactly when Rommel was low on fuel, and that's when he chose to strike.  There was a period when the German subs switched from the standard 3 rotor enigma to a 4 rotor system.  It took the allies 6 months to figure out what happened and start cracking the U-boat messages.  More Allied shipping was lost in that 6 month period than the entire rest of the war.

Additional troops don't negate either of the above situations, which were the primary reasons that Hitler lost the war.

  6. No Because as many as he did kill the combined forces of Russia, US and the UK still outnumberd him and he did not have enough materials to fight the war he was simply out numbered

  7. hi there.

    Good question, have a star!

Leaving aside how useful the murdered millions might have been as soldiers - the loss of that manpower to Germany's industrial and agricultural sectors, plus the drain on resources that was spent killing them - trains, gas, building camps, guards etc. - then it seems likely that if Hitler had harnessed them instead of persecuting them, he could have won the land war in Europe before the USA could get involved, including the total conquest of Russia and its empire.

So yes, for a while he would have won, although it is debateable if he could have kept control of such a large area for long.

    Cheers, Steve.

  8. his purpose was to kill them and more.  If he didn't kill him he couldn't achieve his objective

  9. It's unlikely he would have won. First off, he was fighting a war on two fronts with the then-world superpowers of the U.S. and the USSR. On top of that, America had developed the atomic bomb which would have done untold damage to Germany if Hitler would have chosen not to surrender. Of the people he killed, only a percentage of them would be fit fighting men... so whats a couple million extra troops vs. the rest of the world?

Even if Hitler by some miracle managed to develop an atomic bomb (it was in the works when Germany surrendered) he would have been extremely strained on resources, and America would have finished him off without thinking twice. Seeing as Japan was actually an integral part of that plan but was forced to surrender, that scenario is extremely unlikely, if impossible.

  10. Ahh  Will,  but they would not have fought for him!  They were busy making money off other people and being exclusive in their society.  Jews only helped Jews in those days, but Jews were very disciplined and very successful.  They were the envy of the community in all regards.

Hitler got the masses ready for war by pointing his finger at the Jews and Catholics....not state religions mind you..   and saying there was the problem with the world.  You have to remember, these were Depression days when people were ripe to want something to get better ASAP around the world!

Just as Osama Bin Laden and the Al Quaida and other terror groups often point to Christians, the US being amongst some of the countries being labeled Christian,...not being Muslim, specifically Sunni Muslim, and not seemingly giving the advantages to these Sunnis to help them become as industrious as the US, the Christians become the enemy, symbolically representing the enviable, witnessed by foreign exchange students while they got their degrees in the US!

So the Islam Extremists want Christians dead!  Then they can restore their illusion of dignity of King of the Hill!  While America, symbol of glutony of material possessions, impure to the Sunnis, led by a rebel whose father basically abandonned him and who visited and learned in America, uses the Sunni's religion and discipline to focus the members on killing his percieved enemies, the ones that did not allow him to grow his fortune in the stock market the way he thought it should honestly grow!

Hitler saw the Jews in this light and the Catholics....two of the most organized non state religions of that day and era, who were doing better than the other religions and population of Germany, and then he branched out his control seeking methodology!

  11. yes but he should have some more artery and power

  12. In my opinion, it would only have made a difference if some of those people had enabled Hitler to produce an Atomic Bomb before the USA produced theirs.  That would have enabled Hitler to do Hiroshimas on London, New York etc. and brought about Victory for Germany and Japan.

  13. Actually he did use them because they were not killed in ovens like people try to make out. The very points people have made about wasting resources, burning bodies and disposing of them should tell you that this didn't happen. The amount of fuel required to burn all those bodies and even to transport the fuel to the camps and then remove the remains would have crippled the German war effort; they were already so low on fuel that by 1944 they couldn't supply their own tanks with enough to keep them running. The amount of wood required to burn the bodies would have deforested vast areas of Europe and would have required huge horse drawn convoys to transport the wood to the camps, not to mention the thousands of men chopping down and cutting up the wood. It is not physically possible.

The concentration camps were work camps. Some produced clothes, others produced food. I was reading recently about one in Poland that was a centre for shoe repairs. Others sent the prisoners away to work in factories. Towards the end of the war there was a shortage of food and most of the rail lines had been bombed by the allies meaning what little was available could not be distributed properly, plus of course the camps would have been the last to receive any food so the prisoners starved. Weakened, they fell to disease and huge numbers died. It is the bodies of these people that appear in all the photos about the camps.

The fact is is that most of those he put in camps were enemies and would not have fought for him. The communists for instance who fought the n***s before the war would not have fought for him. A handful of Jews and trade unionists may have fought for him if he hadn't been prejudiced against them but that's it.

  14. his biggest failure was diplomacy. he didnt need to attack the USSR, instead he should have ensured Britain was defeated, and capturing the middle east where all the oil was.  he could have used j5ws but he needed to confiscate their money to gain control of the economy

he could easily have got the one billion Islamic world temporarily on his side easy as they also had similiar ideology with n***s e.g anti semetism etc..

Then he should have got a deal with the soviets to split the USA if they jointly conquer the USA. and only then he should have attacked the USSR.
