All through history the young /poor have fought and died in wars that made the old/rich Much richer. Of course they are told they are fighting for there country/god .

I seriously believe that not all whom serve in our country's military are poor.  You may be shocked to know that there is a large amount of those affluent that serve and die for the United States.  God Bless America.....

It raises profits for the rich by artificially raising demand and thus prices

Well, they dont get richer directly, but it could possibly help them.  And yes, letting the oil fields burn does make money, but decreasing supply the cost of demand goes up (as it has been) allowing oil rich governments and the oil industry to take advantage of huge profits and increases in value.

Putting up lyrics isnt the best way to make a question, but the point and contreversy is well taken :)
