here mine

East.

1. Celtics (they have 3 more years to contend so live it up bandwagoners)

2. Pistons (I don't think they have what it takes to win the East or win a title. they need changes fast)

3. Cavs. (Lebron will bring it, plus they made a pretty nice move recently.)

4. Heat. (D Wade, Beasly, Marion, will be a good defensive team and will bring in enough points for a 4th seed.)

5. 76ers. (elton, Andre and company will give them a good season)

6. Magic. (Dwight needs more help!)

7. Raptors. (will have a great frontline and should be competing with the Magic, these teams will have similar records i think)

8. Bulls, Pacers, or Wizards

besides the celtics and pistons it's kinda unpredictable. it's gonna be a close East that's improving slowly.

now the hard part....

THE WEST

1. Lakers (only getiing better with time, Pau's older and got olympic experiance, Bynum's healthy, Sasha's back, and Farmar's almost ready to start.)

2. The Spurs (given' it a couple more shots.... pretty much the same team)

3. Suns (still a legit team...)

4. Jazz (Deron Williams, Andre, Boozer, will of course have a solid team.)

5. Hornets, (good add in posey

6. Mavs (tic toc, tic toc, Jason Kid)

7. Nuggets (DEFENSE, DEFENSE)

8. Trailblazers (young and only getting better)

    ....Go Toronto Raptors!!! :P

  2. Your credibility is ruined by putting Hornets, who was 3rd last year,at 5th.The Wizards have the best chance of getting 8th seed though.

  3. i would put the Rockets into the West top 8.. prob around 5 or 6..

They have a great team, Tmac showed he can put the team on his shoulders, Yao is one of the top centre in the NBA, Scola has been a beast in the olympics, Artest can score and plays tough D, Battier is a top notch defender also with a handy perimeter shot, and Alston has improved in the important PG role..

this team is a bit unpredictable, which makes them dangerous as well

  4. 1.) San Antonio Spurs- Come on man, it's odd year.

2.) La Lakers- If Pau will not influence Andrew for being a "softy g*y" this team would be number one.

3.) New Orleans Hornets- They have experienced the playoffs and now it's time to move on. They also acquired a guy name James Posey.

4.) Utah Jazz- The staff must take action regarding their center position, they should trade Kirilenko, Ronnie Brewer and C.J Miles to a good center.

5.) Phoenix Suns- It is incredible that they have never been in the NBA Finals before, why on earth did they trade Marion for Shaq?

6.) Portland Trailblazers- Young but Oden resembles Tim Duncan.

7.) Houston Rockets- They would be rank higher if Yao had not played in Olympics.

8.) Dallas Mavericks- Mark Cuban ruined the team.

  5. West

1.Lakers - pretty much same reason

2.Houston-Only if they can have good chemistry and stay healthy

3.Hornets-Same Reason and plus 1 year older / better CP3

    4.Jazz-Same reason as yours

    5.Spurs-Same reason as yours

    6.Suns-Same reason as yours

7.Mavs- Jason Kidd from the start of the season

    8.Clippers or Trailblazers

    Sorry i don't care for East ..

    quick top 5

    Boston

    Pistons

    Cavs

    Magic

    Toronto
