  1. the sharks would've been swept

  2. How do you call this stars/wings series bad? games 4 and 5 have been great!

  3. I think that the Sharks would have a better chance at beating the Wings, but only if they played physical.

  4. The stars have way more tenacity thatn san jose.  San jose has good shooters and an ok defense but the stars have a good, smart defense and our goal scorers know when to score the big ones.  This series is going to 7 games and its a coin toss from there, dallas has all of the momentum.

  5. yahh i think it would have been a muchh better series. the sharks would have had to play physical & hard. never know they could have won the series considering detroit hasnt played well the last 2 games.

  6. Don't count the Stars out yet...they just beat the Wings at the Joe 2-1 to make the series 3-2.

  7. No it would have been worse. Sharks stink.

  8. Too bad for your fantasy that the reality is that the Stars were a better team than the Sharks.

  9. Obviously, its impossible to really say what would happen because so many factors would go into it. Furthermore, it would depend on which Sharks team would show up for the game. The Sharks didn't play up to their potential (which we have seen in the regular season and seasons past) in either series in the playoffs so it is unlikely they would stand up to the Red Wings any better than the Stars. However, if San Jose were playing their best hockey, I could easily see them beating the Red Wings and winning the cup. That's why they were picked by so many at the beginning of the season. It should be interesting to see what a new coach will do for this team next year. It could be disastrous or the answer to their many woes. It has recently come out that many of the players didn't like playing for Wilson and his strange, embarrassing tactics behind the bench could have strangled the team during the offseason.

  10. no, i think sharks would of given them a better fight.

it would be a much better seris

  11. Detroit in 6 vs. San Jose... which as it stands is the best the red Wings could possibly manage against a Stars team that has not gone away. Not sure that means as bad...

  12. It’s too hard to say in these situations. It would determine how the Sharks measure up against the Wings. In my opinion the Sharks and Stars play a similar style, so I’m not sure there would be much difference.

On the other side, I think this is shaping up to be an exciting series.

EDIT: Both Dallas and San Jose went 1-3 against the Wings in the regular season.
