If the speed limit was reduced would that mean more traffic on the roads?

  1. not really because people would just ignore the speed limits like they do now.


  2. No, it wouldn't make any difference.  The only time there is traffic is when cars are moving at well below the speed limit anyway.  If it's clear enough to drive anywhere near the speed limit, then traffic isn't an issue.

  3. No, it would just result in slower traffic on the roads. Changing the speed limit has nothing to do with number of cars on the road.

  4. no, the same amount of cars are on the road however what it does do is increase the time cars are on the road meaning more congestion, increased noise and air pollution as well as increase of probable incidents due to cars being on the road for a longer period of time
