If the stimulus check was mailed on June 27 why havent I got it yet ?

I spent 44 minutes on hold with the IRS and they assured me the check was mailed on June 27. I live in Jersey. Where are these checks mailed from because it is now July 5 and no check. Im beginning to think somethings wrong. I even did the stimulus calculator on the IRS website and it says im getting back money.

.i think it's in order by the last 4 digits of your ssn, so that may be why....

I too am waiting on my check mailed out on June 27. I live in New York. I hope we receive it today. Lets just pray to god. I will let you know if and when I get it. Please post when you do receive it. Thanks.

Most are mailed from Austin, Texas and arrive in a few days. However, nothing is perfect and with billions of pieces of mail to be delivered somethings delays happen. If you haven't received it by July 28th, call the IRS and they will initiate a trace. They won't do anything before that date.

Wow, I am also waiting for my payment. It was also supposed to be mailed out June 27th. Till this day nothing...I still have to receive todays mail though...hopefully it will come in. Most people I have talked to have said that their checks came in about 3-4 days after they were mailed. But for me it's been 10 I think..and still nothing. Oh well....I'll be waiting till the end of this week then I will give the IRS a call. =)

well they say to give it 3-5 days ( business) for it to come maybe more...... depending on where ya live. i aint sure depends on where you are... we live in GA and ours come from atlanta...

That is pretty slow, but the July 4 holiday might have kind of messed up the post office delivery this week.  With a little luck it will come Monday.
