  1. No, of course not. You would get it at 149$. Otherwise this whole after-hours market would be pointless.


  2. Don't trade after hours ... you can't control the conditions or the price at which you purchase.

  3. You get opening price.  Chances are it's NOT $147 or $149.

    After hour is a very limited market.  (Few people can participate, such as you are not.  So, fewer buyer and fewer sellers.)  Things are much more volatile.  Generally, the movement for regular hours are much smaller.

    For a $100+ stock, being up $2 after hour may mean only going up more than like 20-50 cents (not accounting for general market movements.  ie if the mkt is down on the open, it may actually go down.  If the mkt is up, it may go up.  Ahh... the unknown).

  4. Probably not. Depending on what 'stops' you have set, you should get it at the next opening spot buy price. Don't forget the brokerage fees on purchase and sale.

  5. Who knows, you have to wait til the market is open. The best you can do is put a limit on the night before which will go on the board first thing at the open.
