25 degrees C - 5/9 of 25 F degrees = ca. 11 degrees C + 273 = ca. 284 degrees Kelvin (not "Kelvins").

1 K degree = 1 C degree

100 C degrees = 180 F degrees

Notice the difference between "1 degree C", which is a point on the scale, and "1 C degree", which is a width anywhere along the scale.
