  1. The latest IPCC report stated:

"There is insufficient evidence to determine whether trends exist in small scale phenomena such as tornadoes, hail, lighting, and dust storms."

So we really can't attribute this years very high tornado activity to global warming.

  2. i wouldnt trust much the IPCC says. They are a panel appointed by several governments to spread awareness about climate change what a load of BS.

  3. Tornadoes nor hurricanes can be blamed on GW.  We had a huge outbreak of tornadoes in January and we had a very cold winter, tornadoes are just when cool air mix with warm air or vice versa, heat rises creating huge towers (cumulonimbus clouds) as you get a strong downdraft coupled with a strong updraft you start to get rotation and if the rotation reaches the ground well you have a tornado.  Global warming has nothing to do with that.. Until global warming changes weather patterns in high magnitude you can't link them..   So yea it doesn't matter the time of year if you have warm air and a cold front moves through.. well you may get tornadoes or you may not!!  There's so many variable s other than whether it's hot or cold outside

  4. There is no correlation between natural disasters and global warming.

Here is a list of cyclones for the last 100 years. ONly 2 of the most deadly are in modern times, even with the expansion of the population.

  5. Tornadoes are not caused by global warming.  There were just as many before 'An Inconvenient Truth' was released.

  6. tornadoes are cause when a warm front meats a cold front. warm going up and cold going down cause them to spin so can happen pretty much anywhere; any time.
