  1. Deal has already been struck for all combat troops out by 2011.

The troop surge had an effect.  Even Al Sadr told his militia to stop fighting.

Hopefully the violence will stay low key.  Things are looking up!

  2. no. I expect them to be in Iraq..when or if they leave

Iraq will just go back to the way it used to be..a dictator like

Sadaam Hussein and we will have to do this process all over

again..the seeds of the last war grow very fast

  3. they will be and he'll be saying to pull out to soon would be chaos and the gop will be saying we must end this senseless loss of life. its not like there are any true believers on either side

  4. Does anyone honestly believe that a president from either party will withdraw any time soon?  But, mark my words, I'm sure there will be talk of pulling out *combat* troops, just as Clinton had proposed.  But then, combat troops only represent a small fraction of the total force, but it sounds impressive to people who don't realize that.

  5. yeah, hes flipflopping everything hes supposed to stand for so who knows, i know hes gonna do a ton of things he said he wouldnt, the question is which ones

  6. It wont matter as long as Obama gets on tv and convinces the masses that it's ok for the troops to stay there longer.  I promise if he got on tv right now and said the troops need to stay there five more years all of his supporters would suddenly be in agreement.

  7. How many troops? 30,000 or less would be acceptable short term.

  8. America cannot fight a two front war.

America is cocky after WW2 in winning a two front war yet it was really the Russians that helped a hekc of a lot in winning that war

If America is still in Iraqi as Obama in 010 is still president then Id say yes Id be mad at the son of a buck because no country and no state deserves a martial law for 5 years let alone 1 year.

Martial law is only meant for natural disasters, not to just relinquish a mere dictator

Id say up yours Obama or up yours McCain and then Id move to an anti American country

  9. Answer: No, He promised to keep a residual force in Iraq, with no timetable for withdrawing them. Maybe 100 years or so.

  10. i wont be mad because obama wont be president. he hasnt made ONE noncovulated statement during his speech. his words are overdecorated and confusing. he only talks about "unifying" us by stopping discrimination against blacks. NOBODY CARES HELLO! did you guys even listen to his speech? there are many more things wrong with this man. he is inexperienced, insecure, and too troubled with personal confusion to be running for office. he has no business running for president of the united states. he never talked about any plans he has to better this country and solve problems. i know lots of democrats who are voting for Mccain. so dont worry about it too much because this question isnt even applicable to the future situation in 2010 :)

  11. he voted against it so why would i be mad at him?

  12. No, because Obama voted against the war and plus I trust the words the comes out of Obama mouth.

  13. Obama will be a nobody in 2010! McCain/Palin 08!
