  1. it basically means the air around you feels like its attacted to you, really sticky and hot.

makes you sweat quite abit. the majority of people dont like humidity, but others find it ok.

  2. sticky means sweaty

  3. Humid just means the air is loaded with moisture.

Best example of this: take a hot steamy shower and keep the bathroom door closed (and fan off). When you get out, the windows are fogged up and the air in the bathroom is extremely humid, but when you open the door and go out into the hallway, the air is much drier. That is humidity.

  4. Its hot and airless

  5. The warmer the air the more moisture it can hold. When it has rained a lot and then there is a sunny day then the ground moisture evaporates and becomes airborne. If there is a lot of moisture in the air and it is a hot day, the sweat from your brow cannot evaporate fast enough so it stays as water. This makes you damp and your skin is sticky to the touch. High humidity is where the air contains 80%  or more of moisture. Normal humidity is 55% moisture. In building airconditioning systems there are sprays used to maintane the correct humidity. Does that help?

  6. its like warm and feels hard to breathe. like bieng in a sauna, only less hot

  7. heat index will be higher, that is we would perceive hotter than what really is, because we can´t cool with sweat, so sweat stays on your skin, making it sticky.

  8. hot and damp :) sweaty is how people that do perspire would explain it :p lol

  9. You know how it feels when its misty rain in the summer, its hot but the air is moist, that is what they mean by humid, not to that degree but the air will feel hot  moist and cloudy but without the rain

  10. you will feel more warmer than usual, because of less sweating.

  11. electric...

  12. uncomfortable

  13. Hot and oppressive
