  1. Everything That Chelios has said up to this point in time makes me think He wants to keep on playing until he can't do it anymore

  2. No, he still loves the spotlight and he says he has more in the tank. I think he wants to stay and see if his boy Dean can make it so they can play against each other.

Cheli doesn't run his restaurants, they run themselves first of all. Secondly Cheli likes to chase tail!---Or tail, likes to chase Cheli, I'm envious!!!

I see the haters are out as we aren't directly talking about the low-flying Pens here now are we???

    Weak, like your Pens effort!!!!

  3. He hasn't played in the cup finals yet so I would say that it is his time if thay don't think they need him when in counts most

  4. Maybe then he could focus on running his restaurant.

  5. Yes sir

  6. Perhaps. He does want to be part of the 2010 U.S Olympic team, either as a player or be involved in some other way.

  7. If you believe the Jeremy Roenick interview last winter, then Chelios will play several more years. According to him, Chelios plans to retire the year before breaking Howe's record --- saying that he did not want to break it.

  8. most likely

  9. Chelios said last week that he can see himself winning 2-3 more Cups with this organization............so I take that as a no

  10. I don;t think so he already has a couple rings so that is not why he is playing he just likes to play I secretly think he is trying to pass gordie howe as the oldest person to play an NHL game :P

  11. of course, hes practically retired as is.. He'll probably be a healthy scratch till the wings have 3 wins anyways.  He sits more than he plays and anyone can sit around for years.. He'll be done even if they dont win the cup.

  12. Chelios looks lost sometimes.. senior moments I call them. I really dont see how they can continue to play him another year... the talent they have waiting to come up is great and I think CHELI will be told by BABCOCK and Holland to retire. He is only good on the PK where he gets the puck and fires it out as fast as possible. 5-5 he doesnt make smart decisions anymore.. To me, and I think he looks hurried to much. Time to lay it up for your Career Chris. Thanks for the memories.

  13. He'll stay another couple of years...by that I mean 41 years.

  14. No, he already stated he's coming back for another season.

  15. I think if he has any sense of pride he will. He just isn't playing up to speed anymore. He should go out on top.

    So should Hasik!

  16. yes

  17. I doubt it. He will probably play til he is 50.

  18. No, why quit so early... we have about 3-4 more cups left on our team for the next decade he should and will stick around... Chris plays with the brains of a vet and the physical abilities of a 25 year old... until its visually accepted that hes unable to continue he will stop but until then keep it up chelly

  19. My guess is yes. He is just not capable of keeping of with the younger player anymore. Although, he still plays better than a lot of other young defensmen.

I think he should retire though, not because I want to see him go, but because it would be the perfect timing.

  20. Sure, why not go out on top? (Something Nieds and Selanne should have done)
