  1. I think your living under a rock. And NO it can't be agreed that this is a "patriarchal" society.

If anything it is a feminist society because the government only listens to them and the government only benefits women.

Just because a few feminist puppets in power happen to be male they are so insulated by wealth the feminist tyranny doesn't effect them.

Look at the feminist educational system and see how it discriminates against men.

I suppose it is unrealistic to expect the blind to see what those with vision can see clearly.

  2. all of your questions today have been things ive answered a thousand times before... you would think you would backread some of my stuff since you know i always answer you. anyway... here is the same answer i always give to this question

if men and women had equal power

wow, this seems to be such a divided opinion... heavily skewed away from a reallistic outcome.

lets start with a slightly different take... how about we lift learned feminine and masucline socialization from the picture, as if the world had just progressed naturally towards equality.

wars would still occur, but more women would be involved in leadership, fighting and initiating... for instance, we would have entered world war two to end the holocaust, not because the japanese bombed pearl harbour. the first news report with a photo of a jewish work camp would have sent us in directly to stop an atrocity, not to save land, or protect boundaries. men would not be second class or underclass or whatever so many men fear feminists are striving for.

there would still be meat, because lets face it not all women are gonna give up burgers and steaks, not to mention chicken ceasar salads.

our role in the world as a nation would still include vast technological progress and economic growth. i would venture to say that we would have cured cancer by now... not that men arent trying, but because people with power over the money are spending more of it on sustaining old systems, than using it to fund research. an equal opprtunity society stimulates more open expression of ideas and opinions, generating more options and answers. creative problem solving always goes further than debating.

our sports would probably be very different, as my firend michelle attempted in high school, football would still be around and still have rabid fans, but women would be in the league too. now with all of this said i'm going to let my wife take over for a while.

The only men I see as being afraid of any change are the ones who are afraid of their own sexuality anyway. that's all I have to say.

ok so i guess its back to me. p**n, strip clubs, and all sorts of sexual profiteering would still be around. people who want a quick buck by easy work would still use s*x to get it. people would still be horny, men and women would both still have friction over it. everyone is different.

as a whole i dont think violence would be as prevalent in some areas of society but in others it wouldnt change. violence for fear, anger, and jeolousy would still be powerful parts of society, but if it just didnt impress people... theres less motivation for so many senseless outbreaks.

the make up and surgery industries would completeley change as the rest of commercialism. men would be just as self concisous of their appearence and probably be in make up and lipo just as often. the industries target audience would have to develop differently.

basically lets put it this way... if everything was equal and had started that way... we would all essentially fall somewhere in between the two sides we think of now. patriachy shaped the illusions we live by. so get down to reality... nature vs. nurture.

high heels, long hair, lipstick , face powder, overspending on clothing... french men were doing this long before the modern age. waging war, making weapons, raising livestock for food... ancient celtic women ring any bells.
