If the world had no art, how do you think this world would be?

i know art has been on earth for millions of years, starting with caveman paintings and such but im curious to know what you think the world would be like if the world had the absence of art itself.

It would be missing of all comunication, we will still be stuck back in time. Famous painters are regular people. In short bland.

There would be no world because God is an Artist and man and woman are his greatest masterpieces. The masters understood this. Without Art,nothing.

i think it would be absolutely terrible! right now in class we're reading Fahrenheit 451 and its ridiculous! (you should read it if you haven't yet) It's basically about the world with no books or art and the main character is a fireman... except fireman start fires to burn books instead of put them out. If you read this book you can draw a lot of similarities from their world to ours today... it's kind of scary since this book was written in the 50s. the japanese also got the idea for the walkman from this book. but I really don't know what I would do without books or ACTUAL music ("451" makes it seems like all the music is techno/electronica) the world would be a very boring place...

I don't think you could make the world void of art.  I think that people would still see the artful design of beautiful birds, the wonder of the individuality of snowflakes, the musical nature of their own voices and that couldn't really be taken away.
