yes as long as the boat wasn't filled with water and even most fiberglass boats have floatation so even if they become submerged they still float, somewhat. if you want more info on this i suggest reading about a man named noah and his ark

i you had the ark in mind, the bibical description is of a barge, with proportions used in modern ship building... big, flattened box.
