Depends on what rules you are playing.  If is BCA rules I think you win (not 100% sure google bca rules to find out for sure). If you are playing bar rules you loose.

If you are playing 8ball, and you are on the 8ball..........If you make the 8, you win unless you also commit a foul on the shot.....in which case, you lose.

BTW, I agree with above....ball in hand is the only way to play. Have you ever seen people scratch on purpose because the opponents ball was behind the line. What a joke. Let's make a rule where it benefits a person to play bad.......get real.

Depends on the House rules.  when I played regularly, you would have lost.  We played by strict rules and any other ball that dropped while you were shooting on the 8-ball was a loss (even if the 8 dropped first).
