If...then...because... Help me on my hypotheses homework, please?

Question

I have a worksheet for my biology homework, and I got every single one of them except one.

Carlos wants Courtney to go to the dance with him. Some of Courtney's friends have told Carlos that she likes him.

Problem:

Hypothesis - If: (solution/action)

Then: (result)

Because: (why/what reason)

I read this over and over, but I can`t figure out what the problem is. Does anyone have an idea? You don`t have to fill in if, then, or because. Just give me the problem. Thanks in advance.

How about this hypothesis:

If Carlos asks Courtney, she will agree to go to the dance with him because she likes him.
