  1. Frankly it does depends on hight of the pole but as you said "poles" and not "rods" I'd assume these are taller than you.

    These are metal poles taller than you, so of course these will attract lighting more than you as this is a better path for electricity and even if you're leaning on one of these poles you'll not be electrocuted, because electricity will NEVER choose your body over metal even if you're touching the pole.

It would depend on the poles.  Are the metal poles taller than you?  If not, they may actually attract lightning to you!  If they are taller than you, then they would attract the lightning, however if you were standing in the middle of them, you may still get shocked as the electricity discharges through the poles.
