Actually, I shouldn't single out China. Nobody can compete with us.

  1. Since Beijing has congested traffic than London; I think that is the primary reason. You can't really race in Beijing. Way too many cars and way too much people around.

  2. .

  3. Just because you own a bike and ride 10 hrs a day wont make you a great cyclist. Without training and being able to compete you will never become a elite level cyclist. However your statement "Nobody can compete with us" doesn't fair well, unless you are from Spain, America or on a Johan Bruyneel team you will not win the Tour de France.

  4. Saying no one can touch GB is like saying no one can touch americans in running which is only true in individual cases and not historically nor is it a consistent fact.

anyway, last time i checked, China took medal position in the womens sprint event.

For team GB? Well i think the Transpenine Trail and Scotland coupled with cool weather and fresh air helps :D

(btw, the Dutch have millions of cyclist as well)

  5. LMAO!!! This is a great question.

  6. In China, it is much more a mean of trasportation, than a game race.

  7. You have a bicycle, right?  How come we're not watching you on television?  You're only a part of "us" when you're pedaling on the track.

  8. They don't use those bicycles for racing, they use them for transportation.

  9. That's because cycling isn't popular in China, whereas sports like diving and table tennis are.  It doesn't matter how many bicycles there are, if the sport isn't popular the people aren't going to play it, and thus not do as well in it.  I'm sure there are a lot of swimming pools in Britain, but where are your divers?

  10. because they arent making deliveries.

  11. Because they use it for their purposes, like to go to work. They don't race everytime they're on the bike.

  12. Actually there are almost 10 million bicycles in Beijing don't believe that statistic just because it came from a Katie Melua song... you're right nobody can compete with the GB team in cycling but then again 10 million bicycle riders aren't eligible for the Olympics games...the Chinese more than make up for their lesser achievement in this event but so they should do with the huge population (1/6 of the World's) that that account for

  13. they don't allow 9 million people on a single team.

  14. Your right no one can compete with GB this time round but it only lasts for 4 years so perhaps in 4 years time if the same thing happens then you'd really be able to brag, good on ya GB they were amazing to watch.....
