  1. they plan. they have evreything planned. the conflicts, the civil wars, etc. they are all planned.


  2. we in the army always train to protect you and your family.so if we in the infantry have no combat we will train to become better soldiers.(whoo-haa!!)

  3. practice, train, drink beer, live life, go to movies with their spouses and children, pay taxes, go on drives, play golf or sports and then go out in the field and train some more, get back, clean the equipment, inventory it, and get ready to go out and train some more

  4. when I was in the RAF and all the jobs were done you could not have the troops sitting around doing nothing so we Painted the curb stones white in winter black in summer then we Marched up and down then we cleaned our rifles and that was in the Morning ???????  

  5. Clean, flip rocks over, paint other rocks, train, train some more, paint some more, ***** and moan about painting rocks, so on and so forth.... oh and sweep conrete parking lots... lots fo that

  6. Depends on the unit. Some spend as much time as possible training for combat and preparing, others like when I was in the 82 Abn, one month was training, one month bivouc ( playing war ), one month detail work which is maintenance, the cycle repeats itself over and over.
