If there are past life regressions do you think you can have future life progressions?

the future is always in flux decisions are being made choices are in the air. so future life would be too murky. as for past life too many people claim to be famous people. me a mongol warrior killed for loyalty. Egyptian priest/ess  and shaman but no one famous

im not sure what that all means but i think the things u did in ur past life affect this life therefore the things u do in this life will affect ur next life is that on topic or am i out in left field here

Past Life Regression is a crock ( http://skepdic.com/pastlife.html ). There's no reason to believe that we live multiple lives, other than because it's fun to think so. Based on this, I'd say "future life progression" is pretty absurd.

Yes, there is such a thing as future life progression (link below). This is accomplished the same way that past life regression is done via hypnosis.

Unlike the all knowing psuedoskeptics on YA all I have to work with is science and it's methods so I can't say for sure that past lives or future lives exist or do not exist.

I can say the future lives would be very difficult to test as that evidence (for instance historical documentation) does not yet exist to be able to verify if a person (you or not) even really existed (or ever will exist).

Past life regression is certainly open to criticism (as is hypnosis is general as a source of information)

However, hypnosis in general has been shown to have great effect with behavioral changes. Past life regressions (that are actually a very Freudian idea of finding a reason to blame something on) have been useful in treating people with phobias (again like Freud it does not matter if this is the real reason just that the person accepts it as the reason and believes that dealing with this will overcome the problem).

Yes!  Apparently time doesn't exist in that dimension as it does for us here in our dimension.  Have you ever read anything by Edgar Cayce?  He's an American psychic who lived in the early 20th century and has written a lot of books on the subject.

There is a playstation 3 game called assassins creed. The concept is pretty cool.  In the game you can recall your ancestors memorys by unlocking certain DNA strands in your body threw some imaginary scientific device.  I know it doesn't have anything to do with what your ? is but i thought it was cool anyways. I wonder if someday that would be possible.

You know what happens when you get drunk? Do you know why they call alcohol "spirits"? If you were ever drunk enough to give up self control, did you notice that you would say things that didn't seem like you?

Then , maybe when people aren't under their own control, a spirit can come in and take over and speak through them

In hypnosis, you give up your self control . What's to keep a spirit from using your voice (and body) while you're not using it?

Maybe what people think is reincarnation is really spirits taking over the person's body.
