  1. Sheba was a part of africa and yes there is much eveidence to suggest that the queen of sheba was a real person

  2. there are 2 sheba's

One is Sheba, Low Ln, Well, Alford, LN13. England.

the other is Sheba, Mpumalanga South Africa

I'm guessing its the second one.

  3. Check Persia - Sheba may have been a small kingdom in an area that later became Persia and Syria.

  4. The actual location of the historical kingdom is disputed between southern Arabia and eastern Africa; the kingdom may have been situated in either present-day Ethiopia or present-day Yemen.

  5. I don't know where is was actually from but she had a palace in the middle east (Salalah, Sultanate of Oman to be exact) I have seen the ruins.

  6. Queen of Sheba from the Ethiopian history, was the ruler of the ancient kingdom of Sheba. The actual location of the historical kingdom may have included both Ethiopia and Yemen. She supposedly lived in the 10th century BC. According to the Hebrew Bible, the unnamed queen of the land of Sheba heard of the great wisdom of King Solomon of Israel and journeyed there with gifts of spices, gold, precious stones and beautiful wood to test him with questions. The queen was awed by Solomon's great wisdom and wealth, and pronounced a blessing on Solomon's God. Solomon reciprocated with gifts and "everything she desired," whereupon the queen returned to her country. The queen was apparently quite rich herself, as she brought 4.5 tons of gold with her to give to Solomon.

In the Biblical passages which refer explicitly to the Queen of Sheba there is no hint of love or sexual attraction between her and Solomon. The two are depicted merely as fellow monarchs engaged in the affairs of state. However, later Ethiopian tradition firmly asserts that King Solomon did seduce and impregnate his guest, and provides a detailed story of how he went about it - a matter of considerable importance to Ethiopians, as their Emperors traced their lineage to that union.

  7. it was in Africa, Ethopia I think, but no one is sure.

  8. I think Sheba used to be around where Ethiopia is now.

  9. Sheba was a southern kingdom mentioned in the Jewish scriptures (Old Testament) and the Qur'an. The actual location of the historical kingdom is disputed between southern Arabia and eastern Africa; the kingdom may have been situated in either present-day Ethiopia or present-day Yemen.

  10. The answer of Ethiopia is only a part controlled by these people the ancient  Sheba was based in Yemen/Oman at the southern end of the Arabian peninsular.
