Question:

If there is a strong earthquake would you be safer in a car?

From what I've read/heard/seen they say if there is a extremely powerful earthquake and you duck and cover the quake will bash your face in. Would being in a car be safer as the car has suspension and the lot? Just a quick question from a Californian.

  1. not necessarily car it self may go miles down in the whole of earth. you are safe in the open or near two walls.perpendicular to each other.


  2. Safer as long as not driving or not parking near electric polls,  tall buildings.
