the road i'm looking for is somewhere near mount olive nc. i remember passing by spring creek school.

There is a Brock Whitman Lane about a mile south of a Tommy Brock residence.  The road is not paved and is about 5 miles southeast of Mt. Olive and 10 miles southwest of Spring Creek School.  Click on the link for a map.

I would suggest using either Google Earth, or Yahoo Maps.. they are both good for locating those kinds of places..
