  1. No you can't. It is still a handicap area even tho there is no sign.

  2. No.  If there is any marking, either on the pavement or a sign, saying that it is a handicapped space, then it is.

  3. no,whats the diff if the picture is on ground or a pole? maybe your freind can park there since they cant figure that out

  4. A sign SHOULD be posted, but if the spot is painted, it is still a handicap spot.

The lines are usually in blue to differentiate the spots.

There is usually a stiff fine for parking in a handicap spot and in some jurisdictions, they MAY tow and impound the vehicle......if towed, you will have to pay the fine + towing + storage and you can expect the costs of this to grow to a few hundred $$ over the parking offense.

  5. A sign is a sign, whether on the ground or on a pole.  There are plenty of other traffic and safety signs on the roads, including RR crossings, crosswalks, curb paint, lane markers, turning lane arrows and others.  Don't risk a ticket just because you "think" there might be a loophole.

  6. The idea for handicap parking is to give the convenient to those who need it, so why challenge with sign or no sign.  Park somewhere else.

  7. It is still a handicap spot, so no.

  8. No you can not park there.

  9. No sign is needed, the painted emblem is all that is needed.
