This report intrigued me, my personal feeling as a Pastor is some are made to be un-sexual such as is written in the Gospel of Matthew 19:12 (For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made so by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that can take, let him take it.)

But, I realize that is a jagged pill to swallow.

  1. Sorry. No such thing as a "g*y gene".  Just another myth the g*y community believes and tries to make everyone else think it's real.  Many studies have been done on identical twins. One g*y, one not.  Identical DNA.  It's a lifestyle choice is all.

  2. There isn't such a thing as a "g*y" gene. Some (rare) case of homosexuality could be explained by the presence of an extra X chromosome (so therefore, the genotype would be XXY), but, as I said, they are very rare indeed.

The great majority of g*y people are so by choice and can change life style if they want to. So much so that people can be delivered from homosexuality, just like you can be delivered from any addiction or bondage.

God does not condemn the sinner, but the sin.

    EDIT:

I didn't want to, but I gave myself some courage and read the original article. It does not prove that there is a innate brain setting in g*y people, it just suggests that their brain is "conditioned" to behave similarly to women. This is called "adaptation", not pre-destination. In other words, your behavior can condition your nervous terminations and affect the brain structure and conformation.

Just like those who have lost the use of their right hand can "condition" their brain to use their left hand...

    if you see my point...

So, no, sorry, no biological excuse for g*y people yet.

  3. Apparently, he wants them to be fruitful, and NOT multiply. Feel free to use that in your next sermon. Just be sure to credit "Innocent Victim".

  4. 1) balance of/exposure to chemicals during gestation is hardly the same as genetics.

    2) I do not entirely disagree that the "answer" for someone who is g*y(since its not a choice) who feels compelled to be part of a religion that disallows homosexual interaction,  is to simply be celibate.  I think this is a spiritually and religiously valid option, as I think that most agree the "law" in this regard is not against BEING homosexual, but against the BEHAVIOR of indulging homosexual behavior.  is a person who is bi, that never indulges their same-gender urges, only the hetero ones, still bi? yes.  but they are nod partaking int he forbidden activitys and as such the fact that they are is of no harm or relevance.

this is FINE.  they have the option of chosing a belief system that is more accomodating if they so chose.   a church or other religious institution should never be forced to do things or accept things within their walls as being acceptable by outside forces.

    3) theres no reason for this determination, either way, to have any impact on legal or social matters.  people who are g*y or whatever that do not believe as you do, are entitled to their veiws. it is WRONG for christians or other religious views to force their opinion on those who are not part of their group.

  5. ewww, do you even know what a eunuch is, not the same thing

  6. I'm not a scientist, but if they say so then maybe its true. I would say, if God really exist, he would want them to repent and be saved. Take it as something to overcome, whatever.

I'm not a christian, I wouldn't recommend that. In fact, I would encourage them to be themselves. It's not wrong, it isn't right either, after all they were born that way. Who are we to judge?

  7. I don't know about a "g*y gene" - but I personally believe that being g*y is one hard test handed down from God.

We're all given weaknesses - or tests if you will - that we are to look to God to overcome.

Being g*y is a sin, God loves them just the same but He wants that person to hand that over to God for Him to deal with.  And there have been numerous times that God has actually taken away that sinful desire for the same s*x.

It's all about God - every dang bit.

    Not many people realize this.

  8. This type of mindless rabble is what gets you fed to the lions.

  9. not reproduce...over population duhh
