  1. you can apply but if you have a felony on your record you'll get denied and will be on a wait list until they feel its been long enough and your record has been clean


  2. If it's a felony, you can apply, but you won't get the license.

  3. Contact your state's department of insurance and ask them.  All other answers are little more than a guess.

  4. It is a criminal offence and if convicted one is barred from becoming an agent.
