blurring the lines between science and religion but i reckon they fit together.. the bibles theory of creation and process of the earths formation are pretty much the same apart from the time frame.

bible states 7 days, science according to which dating method you use is 3.5 billion years old, this is a ratio of 1 day to .5 billion years but is there any data to back up the time differences between dimensions?

  1. if i was you i would think some things are meant to be not answered, but, i believe that heaven is the other deminsion and that would explain spirits on earth: there stuck in between time and space and the deminsions. time is a myth and our creator: god wants us to not think ignorance is bliss, its not. thats why god made it imposible to make it further in space than we are currently able to be now

  2. Well, you must consider that the bible also is talking about the creation of the Universe and all things, which probably happened fairly quickly.

Of course, there are other things to factor into the argument. The Bible is accurate in some ways, but it's totally way out in others.

For example, the bible actually has a number of contradictions. In the beginning of Genesis, the bible states that God created man first, and then animals for him to tend. Shortly after, it states that God created animals and then man to tend them.

But Heaven and Earth are not the same. I often wonder if maybe we aren't just interdimensional beings that occupy these fleshy bodies until they can no longer hold us up.

I'd liked to have answered more thoroughly, and give you some more biblical references but I only saw your question now, Julz. I have 10 minutes to reply it said.

    Sorry!

PS - Don't listen to Megadeth, just being a **** that nobody can understand because he refuses to use punctuation.

  3. No, your question about a time gap between dimensions doesn't make any sense.  I've never heard anyone make a time dilation arguement that 3.5 billion years = 7 days.  (I think 3.5 billion is a little low, but what's a few billion anyway?).  Doing so would imply very large relative velocities or gravitational potentials.  While that much is possible, I think you're going to have a very tough time plausibly squeezing the rest of the story into those crazy reference frames.

As literal history, the biblical account in Genesis is proven false.  Better to just interpret the creation story allegorically.  You can believe that whoever wrote it was taking some literary license to craft a story that reflects greater truths about the human condition.
