  1. Actually, I saw something about this in Skiing Magazine a couple of months ago. I think that it was a pair of road skis (on wheels) based in China, and that it was catching on as a sport pretty fast. So it deffinetley seems that the market is there, so hurry up and get that patent!

Anyways, if your product simulated skiing as acuratley as possible, with the ability to turn and jump, etc. I would buy it! Please keep us updated! I would really love to see your product out there. What a great Idea.

    Hope this helps.

  2. I think I would, but it would have to differ a lot form roller blading. If you were able to grind, do jumps, tricks etc. I'd buy it for sure :D

  3. No thanks, ive already got a pair of rollerblades

  4. Yeah if i could freestyle it (twin tips)!!!

    But isn't that called roller-blading?

Ah!! What do I know?!  Good luck and let me know how it goes!  I'll buy it.

  5. there are street skis with wheels, and rollerblades, I probably wouldn't buy a product like that though. I'd rather bike, skiing is all about the snow. :(

  6. i would

  7. There is one on the market now, but it is pricey.

  8. totaly that would be so awsome and you could help by not polutting if u used them for transportation

  9. I like the idea but I don't think it'd work on any street because of pedestrians, cars and the amount of space you need to turn on a ski or something that would simulate it.

    Plus I already have rollerblades.

  10. Probably Not

for me skiing is more about terrain and playing with gravity/ the fresh feeling of cold dry powder/ hanging out with friends under a bright, sunny mountain sky with the view of the whole world below you/ making new friends on a cold, windy chair then meeting up again for a beer by the fire in a warm lodge. I can't imagine that you can capture those sensations on a city street any better than being on rollerblades

30yrs ago a friend of mine bought a pair of grass skis(skis with wheels). We were both excited about trying them out and they were amusing for abit but I really don't remember us using them again after the 1st day

  11. Yes, if there were a follow up item that makes it not feel like I am wiping out on the street.  No road rash.

  12. yeh but isnt that just the same as roller blading??? :S

  13. You mean something like the XC street skis? I see a lot of people in VT have them. I've never tried those but it looks fun. I'd try something like it for downhill too.

Can I mount telemark bindings on it too?
