  1. yes-

  2. Legalize... or at least decriminalize it (i.e. no criminal record for possession of small amounts).

I should be free to s***w up my own brain with weed, just like everyone does with alcohol ;-)

  3. Ron Paul will legalize weed. you can vote now.

  4. I would vote yes; there are now studies that prove that THC (the active ingredient in MJ) kills cancerous brain cells while remaining neutral to healthy brain cells. Also, if it were legalized, we could develop a fuel with hemp oil that could provide us with energy and make us independent from foreign oil. Since it's a weed and can grow anywhere, it will be much less damaging to the soil than growing corn for ethanol fuel.

  5. yes because it helps

  6. Yes because maybe it would eliminate atleast SOME of the illegal drug dealing....i mean if it was sold legally, then less people wouldnt have to buy it off of the streets..which also means less people would get locked up for it

  7. I vote YES, people can do what they like and choose what they like.

I'd like there to be less hypocracy in the law against drugs, all or nothing.

Stop it being illegal and there goes alot of the urge to break away and rebel, I think it would lessen the use.

  8. I would vote to legalize it.  Because of the medical benefits not the narcotic uses.

  9. With certain restrictions I would vote yes. It is prescribed by doctors , I have no knowledge of  alcohol prescriptions. It has made criminals our of otherwise good people. It has made many a drug dealer rich.  The IRS cannot get any tax dollars out of that income. It makes more sense to  legalize and regulate.

  10. yes, it would provide a boost to the economy, take away some of the mystique from school kids, and it is a natural substance

on the flip side, if it did become legal I'm sure that where it could be smoked would be even more limited than tobacco so basically you're still hanging out with your damp towel next to the door :)

  11. Oh, I would vote yes. It is not healthy but it is in my opinion better than drinking. You are not going to lose control of yourself with the Jeeba. You could only get so high. Whereas with alchol you can drink and drink and drink and it keeps affecting your body.

  12. no i hate anything that gives additction and ugly face results!!!!!!

  13. No because it has long term detrimental effects on mental health

  14. Yes, both of my hands are up. (one is holding a glass smoking device). Alcohol out/Pot in.

  15. Vote yes!

  16. no...wouldn't vote - if it doesn't affect me - i'm not interested!

  17. no- only for people that are dying and need it to keep away the pain, or cancer patients, to help with the nausea.

any other time its just recreational, and you can get so high you could drive and kill someone, why would i want to legalize killing people

  18. I vote +1 :)))

Marijuana issued in some countries as a medicine in pharmacies

    ;-)

  19. No it feels good, helps with problems such as deppresion (all sorts), athruytis (however you spell it) and other painful diseses ect.

so it should be legalised if needed and also it should be legal to smoke it once a year for the fun of it or something.

  20. Yes. It is legal in Holland and there are no major problems with that. It would stop the black market, dealers and all those very negative aspects.

  21. for personal use only  YES

  22. Yes, when possession is in small amounts for personal use.  I would also regulate the growing and distribution of marijuiana in order to take the whole issue from the back alleys which is the breeding ground of other crimes.

  23. Yes because I suffer from chronic pain and it is the only thing that helps me.  It is no worse than alcohol and does not give me the side effects of vicodin.

  24. YES...  LEGALIZE IT...

Look at it compared to alcohol and tobacco, it is all about the $$$ MONEY $$$ FOR TAXES.

Smoke the headiest around!!!  75% of the population does anyway.  Who cares about their law?

  25. Yes. It's no worse than beer or liquor, and in some ways safer. Alcohol makes some people violent, marijuana makes most people relaxed (or paranoid).

  26. Like I always have, against it. Why? There are already too many impaired people driving. We don't need to add a bunch of pot heads to the list.

  27. YES, I dont smoke it, but I belive people should be free to choose for themselves. And decide for themselves if it makes them happy and is worth the risks.

  28. I would vote to make it legal. There are many people who smoke pot and they are unlikely to stop.

I would prefer that the stuff be legalized and taxed. I love it when people pay taxes voluntarily. That is less that I have to pay. It would free up some prison space that could be put to better use.

  29. If I could vote on this issue I would say yes to legalizing pot because on most issues of personal responsibility I have a "liberal viewpoint."  People smoke and drink in this country so why not recreate as well as one sees fit. There will always be some who overindulge in any activity. From what I have seen marijuana isn't inherently dangerous so why not decriminalize it and turn our attention to matters and issues that are more important. I have never smoked myself but I feel on all individual actions you take you should be responsible and take your medicine if there are any negative results of your behaviour on others.

  30. Yes, and I will explain why.

People kill pople over marijuna. Over bad drug sales...people oweing money or whatever.

Now how often to people get killed over cigarettes or beer? They dont because its legalized.

Its really the only way to stop crime.. and I dont like the fact that its the only way that it would work.. but i mean look at history, nothing seems to help

  31. I'd vote yes, as, from what I've been able to see, most places that do have legalized marijuana seem to have no adverse effects due to it. And I think that, while drugs aren't really a positive part of society, criminalization of a drug as innocuous as marijuana causes more problems than it could ever do good. People who get stoned sometimes don't need to be cluttering our courts and jails. They're not particular threats to society.
