If there was no UN, where would the world come to talk about it's differences to avoid war?

Certainly, it must be USA. That was why the third world countries did not agree with what the imperialist country policies.

The white house, we seem to stick our noses in everyone else's problems, and if not us, maybe the Vatican.

it could not for obvious reasons be what has been suggested by the latter postings. vatican or usa.

-vatican is a church. there are many reasons this is  abad idea. basically many conflicts are due to religious tensions, and you basically saying vatican will decide.

-usa for obvious reasons cannot be the place to talk about this. they dont make the decisions for all even though they may have the temporal hegemony.
