  1. Insurance will usually still pay, but the problem is knowing who was at fault. Without the police report this is impossible. So, it's gonna go on your insurance even if it wasn't your fault.


  2. yes insurance will still cover it 99% of the time.

    the only issue with this is determining who's fault it is.  if say, its the other person's fault, they can now lie and say it was your fault.  It now becomes your word against hers and the insurance company will have a hard time figuring out who is at fault.  If there are any witnesses, that will help.

    When you call the insurance, just tell the truth in the most detail that you can and hope the other person tells the truth.

  3. Did you exchange insurance info? If so they should but the problem is proving who was at fault usually.That's why it's always good to have the police involved at the scene if it wasn't your fault.

  4. Insurance should still cover. but..................ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS call both the police AND your insurance co. for any accident..............ALWAYS !
