If there were 6 candys and 2 were rotte. if u chose 2 what are the odds of getting the rotten 2?

  2. You pick the first candy, there is 2/6 chance it being rotten. 2/6 because there are 6 candies in total and 2 are rotten.

    You pick the second candy, there is 1/5 chance of it being rotten. 1/5 because now you only have 5 candies left, and only 1 of them is rotten (because you chose the OTHER rotten one in your first pick.)

    So the chance of picking two rotten candies is

    2/6 * 1/5 = 2/30 = 1/15
