If there were an organization whose purpose was the betterment of mankind would you join ?

If it welcomed saints and sinners, all religions, all atheist, everyone who wants the world to be a better place, a peaceful place, could it make a difference?

Sounds wonderful on the face of it, but I'd have to know HOW they were going to better mankind and WHO was going to decide what constituted being better. After all, Hitler was going to "better mankind" by creating a genetically pure Aryan race.

Not trying to shoot down your ideas, just pointing out that one man's "better" could be another man's "awful."
