If they are going to lower the drinking age ...then why dont they?

legalize marijuana. everyone i know as well as myself (i quit 2 years ago) have observed that alcohol is way more intoxicating and dangerous than that of marijuana. if they are going to lower the drinking age...then y not legalize marijuana ...its much safer than alcohol.

Besides John's point, the fact that hemp could be grown to make all kinds of products like paper, plastics and fuel, the corporations like the forest industry and gas companies will just stay on congress harder than we can lobby them. It all comes down to who has the most cash :(

because the us government would not be able to regulate and tax it - make money off of it because it would be too hard so they have to make outlandish statements and lies to make people think it is bad when cigarettes are way more unhealthy.

Since when has anyone said the drinking age will be lowered?  I haven't heard about any law proposing this.

If smoking weed makes people have that kind of logic (and spelling and grammar) it's plenty dangerous.

Would you post some proof please.  I know of NO legitimate study that has ever made that claim.
