If they built an interstate highway from North America (USA) to Asia how many hours do you estimate it would take to drive?

  1. About 6,000 miles.  At 70mph that would take about 86 Hours.  I don't think there is a car made that gets that kind of milage.  They would need 6 or 7 gas stations along the way.


  2. depends on where they built it.  west coast would be faster than east coast.  alaska would be the fastest.

  3. if you've ever driven in Beijing and Shanghai, you will know that Asians in general can't drive to save their life.  With all the people pulling over to relieve themselves, the drive will take over a year.

  4. One hour. Starting in Alaska you cross 60 miles over or under the Bering Strait and enter into Siberia.

    Indeed there are plans for a North America to Asia land bridge/tunnel There will be a road for cars but rail will be the most compelling reason.
