    Any movement along he same demand curve (A and D) will be reflected merely as a price increase or decrease and that would be a price change, not a change in demand.

    A change in demand means a change in the quantity demanded so that implies a shift of the entire curve. If it moves to the left, then quantity diminishes (C) and if it shifts to the right, quantity increases (B).
