  1. It's not a fake skull. It's a real skull, but human. I've seen some of the criticisms made by scientists who have been on the examination teams. I'd love to see all of the actual analysis data.

However, the statement made during the video is an incorrect conclusion: "We were unable to recover the nuclear DNA after 6 attempts... which means that the DNA was not entirely human."

Having helped with software to analyze DNA, I can say for certainty that failure to recover DNA results means that the nuclear DNA has decayed to the point that it's not completely readable, and has no bearing with regard to whether or not it  was human. There are lots of things that could account for it. I'd want to see the DNA analysis results to confirm.

The shape of the head is that of a newborn. The hardness of the skull is consistent with normal bone (the claim that it's "harder than normal" is unsubstantiated, as it's been said to be well within normal density and hardness for human bone).

With two strikes against him, I don't wanna ruin it by going further. But I believe it's human.

  2. its fake

  3. Probably some poor deformed kid.

  4. Looks like my granddad.

  5. It almost looks like the Greek myths about pigmies. Not entirely. It's missing the whole front mandible though. it could just be a really deformed human.

  6. That skull does not look like bone should. It's too shiny.  It looks to me like a deformed, and likely wrap-flattened skull of a human child.

  7. it looks a nlot like bush to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  lol

  8. I think the skull came from a child that was born with some sort of birth defects. A severely cleft pallet comes to mind. While they do say the skull was found back in the 1930's they don't say how old it's estimated it to be or where it was found.

I'm guessing the skull was found in some remote primitive area of South America or other Third World Country where even crude medical intervention would be unlikely.

As for the DNA it's imposable to get accurate DNA samples from bones that have been buried in certain types of soils for more than a few months.

  9. This child had a craniofacial deformity, likely caused by a disorder such as Treacher Collins disorder.

You can compare the skull to the skull of a little girl named Julianna Wetmore, who is severely afflicted by the disorder and has undergone extensive reconstructive surgery to try to build her a face. You can see here that her skull is very similar to the "starchild" skull.

The main difference is, which makes the star child skull somewhat unusual, is that the star child skull has a high degree of symmetry, which is unusual in facial deformities, but certainly not impossible.
