Please, be honest, if you saw this, would you be interested and keep reading??

The only thing I was I was conscious of was the ground sinking under my feet as I ran through the forest. Running was next to pointless; if he really wanted to catch me, he could, the only thing that made sense was this was his favorite game, chasing his prey, pretending like there was an actual chance they could get away. If he caught me right away, he’d feel no sense of accomplishment, no success.

My breath dragged past my lips in heavy, short gusts as I sped through the forest, avoiding branches and thorns. Still, my arms were covered in cuts. I winced as a sapling sliced through the skin of my forearm, the air burning it as it swelled around my open wound. I looked back, glancing momentarily over my shoulder. He was there, only about ten feet away, bands of muscles flexing and un-flexing in his bare chest as he bounded over logs and fallen branches like it was nothing at all.

  1. This isn't really my style of book, but if it were I would. Its written very well, maybe just a little to descriptive for an excerpt though.

  2. I would definetly read it. It appeals to all human senses:

Sight- I see this happening in my head.

Hearing- you can hear the branch slice her skin and the sound of his feet.

Touch- you wonder what he will do when he gets to her

    Taste- okay, maybe not! :D

    Smell- okay, nm

But anyway, it sounds great. If you wrote that keep it up. I know it will be good...

Is it an erotic type thing. Like is he going to rape her or kill her?

  3. The language implies that the protagonist is still alive to tell its story, clearly ray of hope in crude darkness. it will be interesting to read this book.

  4. Interesting that this is the synopsis on the back of the book. Usually it's an outline of the whole story.

No, I wouldn't read it. I never read things that are scary that apply to real life like murder, kidnapping, rape, or stalking. Just scares me too much since it could really happen.

  5. most likely! pretty good! (but a little gruesome)

  6. I would defintitely read that!

    Whats the title??!

    It seems interesting and catchy.
