  1. Danielle T: A(A(A)) = A(A). An abstraction on an abstraction of abstraction is just the same as an abstraction of abstraction. This is mereologically flat and not subject to godol's paradox.

    However, she is probably correct that there are infinitely many abstract concepts. I'm not totally convinced that time is one of them. There's a good deal of debate on that issue.


  2. an abstract concept (Let's call it A) is an abstract concept itself.

    So A is abstract, A(A) is abstract, A(A(A)) is abstract... you can see there are infinite abstract concepts

Now THERE'S a hole with no bottom.  Some abstract concepts you may be familiar with include consciousness, love, mathematics, void, purpose, victory, and physics itself.  Ironically enough, time is actually less abstract than any of these things; it may SEEM more abstract than space, but it is an objective thing measuring a real dimension.
