I've read up on catabolic foods and there are a few things that I don't exactly understand. I know that tomatoes are highly catabolic, but is tomato soup catabolic as well? And if oranges are catabolic does that make orange juice catabolic too?

If you could clarify these for me I would much appreciate it =]

  2. You've answered your own questions here.  Yes, on both scores.,

  3. I would highly doubt it....the tomatoes themselves would still be catabolic but when combined with other ingredients will not be a "catabolic food" because the other ingredients are not catabolic themselves.

    Edit:

For example, eating a whole bottle of ketchup is definitely not catabolic even though the main ingredient is the tomato!!
