Will be traveling to Italy in about 3 weeks, recently lost id. Would a passport be enough to travel out of the country or will I need another form of id?

  1. Passport is enough but better you bring 1 identification card aside your passport.. coz some police or whoever person is that are asking your other form of ID's to make sure and double check.. you know sometimes the picture of our passport kindda confusing if it's that us or our twins.. you know different hairstyles and etc.. make them confuse.

  2. See if you can find an Italian embassy or consulate to advise you.

I would definitely always travel with two forms of ID, like passport & driver's licence or student ID etc. Better safe than sorry.

  3. Passport is all that is required.  Having additional ID is good if you were to lose your passport while abroad but this should be state or government  ID only because these will be the most readily accepted should you need to get a new passort.  You should also have a copy of your passport for this reason too.
