In the premiership if two teams are level on points then the team with the highest goal differance in there favour would get the title. But what I wanted to now is what would happen if the points and the goal differance where equal. I now that its near on impossible but technecly it could happen.

  1. NAME ORDER

  2. From the Premier League Handbook.

Section B, #22-24, 31 (pages 81-82 from the link provided below)

    (paraphrasing)

If two or more clubs are level on points at the top of the league table, the tiebreaking procedures to determine the League Champion are as follows:

    - higher or highest goal difference.

    - most goals scored in all league matches.

If still level, the clubs concered are deemed to occupy the same position in the table.

The league champion would then be decided on one playoff (or more than one playoff if more than two clubs are concerned) played on neutral grounds, the format, timing and venue of which shall be determined by the Premier League's Board of Directors.
