ex. premonitions [in dreams, or waking state], ESP, mental telepathy, witnessing a ghost, experiencing psychic phenomena

IF your one that has NEVER had 'some' type of supernatural experience, and still don't believe it can happen--what you think people who go through these type of situations are merely imagining things?

  1. I believe what i can see with my eye's and hear with my ears and detect with my other senses (not 6th senses) just the usual five senses, when i see or hear something i do what everyone else does, i just pretend it never happened, why strain my brain on something that can't be explained, people go crazy trying to explain the unexplained stuff that happens, so why not just leave it alone?

  2. I'm not a christian anymore, in fact i'm an agnostic but i did study the holy books of the major religions. if these are the truths of these religions then it follows that the paranormal is true.

  3. Mainly, yes.  How do *you* judge if something is true, or not?

The basis of *all* logical thought is to propose some hypothesis, and then examine the evidence for it.

For example, if I want to leave my house, it's quickest to go through the wall, but the *evidence* indicates that it will be better for all concerned if I go a longer way, through a door.

No "supernatural" experience has ever been backed up by credible evidence.

Now, you will say that I just don't want to believe; but in fact, as with most scientists, the opposite is the truth.  It would be quite wonderful if we could talk with the dead, etc.  But there is no evidence *whatsoever* that we can.

  4. Well there are millions of people lime me who experience the paranormal on a daily basis.

We don;t have to believe it is real; we have personal experience and KNOW it is real.

My blog at Yahoo 360 has lots of material.

  5. they cant be sure it doesnt exist. but its easier to deny something that it is to accept something happened they cant explain. Like everything else, the science to investigate is just now being developed. For centuries people denied the existance of many things that today are accepted as real. Even doctors admit miracles happen they have no explanation for, and yet they are science based individuals. But its easier to deny something or make fun of it than it is to try to researce and understand. If your a nay sayer, why would you want to be proven wrong, Right?

  6. What is true in this world is not what one wants to be true or hopes is true or wishes were true.  What is true is what one believes is true.   If you found someone who believes that the Earth is flat, and hooked them up to a lie detector -  it would show that they are telling the truth.  Because they really believe it is true. You could show them pictures of Earth from space -round.  They would just say the pictures were faked.  It is the same with anything. Anything a person really, genuinely believes is true IS true for them -regardless if anyone else believes it or not.

Despite absolutely NO scientific evidence of any sort, people believe in unprovable things like ESP, mental telepathy, witnessing a ghost, God, experiencing psychic phenomena, horoscopes, tea leaves.  And there is no way to prove to any of these believers that they are wrong.

  7. I've never used a microscope to see if tiny orange gremlins live in the bristles of my toothbrush, but I'm pretty sure there aren't any just as I'm pretty sure that the paranormal isn't real either.

  8. For hundreds no thousands of years people have been making paranormal claims. In all that time not once, have they been able to document one event. What's been documented are cons, hallucinations, delusions, dreams or cries for attention.Never once has the monster been under the bed.The question for me is.Why do people believe this stuff?Especially with the mountains of evidence against it.Not to mention it's terrible effect on many people in the world.
