My husband was caught speeding with his european license, instead of giving him points, they offered him to attend a seminar instead. When we renew our insurance, it asks 'how many driving convictions has the driver had", is this considered a conviction?

  1. you do not have to disclose this to your company. They will run your MVR (motor vehicle report) and it will show if you have positive or negitive points on your record. Some states (like FL) will still show that you received a ticket but will also show the passed driving class, resulting in no points taken off your record.

  2. No - its NOT a conviction hence no points. You dont have to tell insurance about it xx
