  1. It's highly unlikely especially once you have taken more courses.

    GPA Calculator:

you can possibly shoot for a mid 3, but considering your cumulative GPA is getting straight A's realistic??

  2. Sorry, it can not, as it is the CUMMULATIVE GPA. you can only get a cummulative GPA of 4.0 if you have not ever got one single A-.

  3. No

  4. Depends on the course value. If you take a 2 credit the A is nominal if you take a 4 credit the A is more valuable.

  5. You would have to have only taken 18 hours previously and then you would have to make a 5.0

  6. No, once you have 3.0 GPA it will not become 4.0 , whatever your next grades are. because to count the GPA is based on average, so you may get 3.9 or something, but not 4.0

  7. Formula for GPA:

    (# of credits course is) (grade in course) + (#of credits course is)(grade in course) + . . .

    Then divide by total credits.

    Example:

If I had an A in a 3 credit biology course and a B in a 4 credit sociology course and a C in a 3 credit physics course it would look like this:

    (4.0) (3) + (3.0) (4) + (2.0)(3)  = 30

Then Divide by total number of credits (10) = 3.0

  8. No way.

  9. no way

  10. I think you can get a 4.0 GPA but I'm unsure if you could do it this fall. You could probably get a 3.5 at the very least. I think if you make straight As this semester and then straight As next semester then you probably can work up to a 4.0.

I have a cummulative 4.0 GPA. It doesn't feel that great. I know its "heretical" to say that but ah they're just grades, they don't measure up anything else beyond academia.

  11. No. How much your GPA improves will depend on how many courses you've already taken, but you can't make it a 4.0.

  12. no not for your total gpa, only your year/semester gpa. cummulative means cummulative.

  13. I guess that mathematics is not your strongest subject.

  14. i think id be a 3.8.

  15. No.  Three plus four divided by two cannot possibly be 4.  3.5 is the best you can get.
